How Warmtrack Began

Born from experience. Built to solve a real problem. WarmTrack began with a simple problem: cold feet. After years of skiing and teaching internationally, founder Sonwabile Mbaliswana experienced demanding winter conditions while working in China. Long days on the mountain made one thing clear - the right ski sock could completely change the experience inside a ski boot. Instead of accepting the problem, he began working on his own solution. That journey became WarmTrack - an African-born ski brand built around warmth, comfort, performance and a genuine love for the mountains.

Eventually I thought: Why don't I try to create something myself?
That question became the beginning of WarmTrack.
I started small. The first goal wasn't to build a huge company. The goal was simply to create a ski sock that I would
genuinely want to wear while working on the mountain.
From those early ideas came prototypes. From prototypes came products. And from those products came something
much bigger than I originally imagined.
WarmTrack was born.

As an instructor, you don't simply ski for an hour and go inside. You can spend long periods standing, demonstrating, teaching and moving around the mountain.

The problem was simple: COLD FEET

When your feet become cold, the entire experience changes.
I tried different approaches, but I became increasingly interested in something most people don't think much about: the
sock inside the ski boot.
I started learning more about ski socks, materials, cushioning, fit, compression and warmth.
Eventually I thought: Why don't I try to create something myself?
That question became the beginning of WarmTrack.
